About us

With 42 TB of data, 592 billion records in a table, 1.5 billion rows scanned per second, we, together with the NHS, manage one of the largest healthcare datasets in the world.  We’re now looking for talented people, with a passion for doing good, to help us create new, innovative, accurate and secure solutions across this data to the benefit of UK healthcare.

Your new role

As our Automation Tester, you’ll be a significant member of our analytics department.  We’ll look to you to drive best practice in the area of testing.

You’ll use a range of tools and technologies such as Java, Pytest, PyMock, Cypress, JMeter, Cucumber, Selenium, Locust and more as you work with the developers and data engineers, building solutions which are impacting the world of healthcare and health analytics.

This is a remote role so you should be comfortable with home working.

The team you’ll join

Our Team is made up of developers, data engineers, architects and others.  We’re roughly 50 people, equally split across the UK and India.  In the UK, we’re all home workers, so this will be a remote role with occasional travel to one of our hubs (Bristol would be most common) for meetings and workshops.

What you’ll bring

These are the skills and experience you’ll need to set yourself up for success in this role, however, we’d still love to talk to you even if you don’t tick all of them:

  • You’ll be an excellent Automation Tester with experience working on complex projects
  • You’ll have experience with some or all of the key technologies we’re using: Java, Pytest, PyMock, Cypress, JMeter.
  • You’ll be a great communicator, a true team player and comfortable working as part of a remote team

What we’ll give you

On top of your salary, you’ll get a benefits package which includes a pension, life assurance, a healthcare cash plan, a cycle scheme and more!

We also take our corporate social responsibility pretty seriously and we believe in giving back to our community, so you’ll get the chance to be involved in lots of fundraising events throughout the year.
