Your new role

As Business Development Executive you will build relationships with GP practices within your set region in order to identify and close opportunities for all associated EMIS Web hardware and software products. Following the full sales lifecycle, you will proactively promote a range of solutions in line with your pipeline and planned sales campaigns in order to meet and exceed quarterly targets.

This is a predominately new business role where you will successfully talk customers through the features and benefits of our products, so a confident self-starter with a can-do attitude is a must!  Alongside external customers, you will work collaboratively with internal stakeholders including the Account Director for your region, and a number of key business areas including Product and Sales Support. Sales cycle times vary from days to a few months, and range in value up to £20,000, so the ability to work at pace and manage simultaneous prospects is really important.

This role reports directly to Emma, Sales Manager, who manages a team of seven Business Development Executives, therefore you’ll be joining a team with a wealth of knowledge on the ever-expanding portfolio of EMIS products.
