About us

With 42 TB of data, 592 billion records in a table, 1.5 billion rows scanned per second, we, together with the NHS, manage one of the largest healthcare datasets in the world.  We’re now looking for talented people, with a passion for doing good, to help us create new, innovative, accurate and secure solutions across this data to the benefit of UK healthcare.

Your new role

You’ll be working on greenfield projects, so you’ll get involved in all aspects of the development lifecycle including architecture, code reviews, testing and non-functionals, as well as cutting code.  All this will be done in an agile environment with collaboration with others across the business and working with the latest technology such as Python, AWS, Spark, SQL, Docker, R and more.

The team you’ll join

Our team is curious, driven, intelligent, pragmatic, collaborative, open-minded, but most importantly, we get things done.  We’ve got developers, Solution Architects, Technical Architects and Data Scientists and we’re geographically spread across the UK and India.

What you’ll bring

These are the skills and experience you’ll need to set yourself up for success in this role, however, we’d still love to talk to you even if you don’t tick all of them:

  • You’ll be a true innovator who is passionate about data and technology and using it to better society and healthcare
  • You’ll have experience with Python and SQL as well as broader development experience
  • You’ll be a team player, a collaborator and comfortable with remote working

What we’ll give you

As well as a competitive salary, you’ll get a benefits package which includes a generous pension, a healthcare cash plan, flexible working, life assurance, cycle to work scheme and more!

We also take our corporate social responsibility pretty seriously and we believe in giving back to our community, so you’ll get the chance to be involved in lots of fundraising events throughout the year.  Our latest one was a challenge to complete up to a 100km walk over 24hrs across the Peak District!
