About us

Want to be part of something really exciting? We are transforming the way health and care is delivered. Working with our customers, we are leading the way in the delivery of patient-centred, connected, digitally enabled health and care services.

Our customers and partners are using our solutions in all health and care settings, from GP surgeries and community care to high street pharmacies, hospitals, clinics, not for profit organisations and specialist services. We are committed to developing the next generation of healthcare technology that will truly make a difference.

Your new role

As Executive Business Manager you will be at the centre of two core businesses supporting the CEO to run them effectively and deliver on our commitments to our business, our customers and partners, and our shareholders. Working side by side with the CEO of EMIS Health and Enterprise, Suzy Foster, you will own and run the “rhythm of business” and oversee operations and ensure the businesses are running effectively, that issues are picked up early and corrected, that risks are managed and mitigated.

Acting as a trusted advisor, your day-to-day accountabilities will vary but will include business planning and strategy, proactively managing actions and commitments, organising the business calendar, taking the lead on special projects and building a strong internal and external network.

Being proactive is key and you must be someone who enjoys collaborative working and bringing together others to achieve solutions and solve problems. Action-oriented you will know how to assert yourself effectively to get the best outcomes from a diverse range of stakeholders and colleagues. Most importantly, you must be committed to our core values and genuinely care about having a positive impact in the health and care environment.

What you’ll bring

  • Fantastic examples of where you successfully managed projects or programmes of work
  • Demonstrable brilliant communication skills and emotional intelligence
  • Excellent market and sector understanding
  • The ability to assimilate and present complex data simply and effectively
  • A relentless commitment to quality in all things
  • A real understanding of what great customer service really means and where you have impacted
  • Cases where you have had to deliver difficult messages and dealt with challenging situations
  • Understanding of how to work effectively in a matrix organisation, bring teams together and lead by example

What we’ll give you

We can offer you a great package, a really flexible working environment and the opportunity to achieve extraordinary things. We understand the value that a diverse team brings to our organisation. We respect and value our people for what they do and the impact they can have, and we create an environment that supports everyone to bring their best selves to work, every day. Our culture is inclusive and supportive. If you think you are right for us, we will make it work for you.
