Pinnacle is now part of EMIS Group and we build high quality software to support effective healthcare and enable service providers to capture clinical and care information. It’s vital that we integrate well with other systems to provide new ways of providing care. We save healthcare organisations millions of pounds.
Your new role
As our Junior Tester, you’ll play a vital part in our agile development process. You’ll be involved right from the start of any project, working with the team to develop test cases, test suites. You will adhere to existing Quality Assurance processes and contribute to them as well as help understand and define what User Acceptance Criteria is required.
Whether individually or with others, you’ll conduct functional testing – regression, acceptance, exploratory and more. You’ll use your experience and any knowledge of Continuous Integration (CI / CD) and a range of tools including Jenkins and Selenium to ensure our software is excellent and best in class.
The team you’ll join
You’ll work closely with our Senior QA Engineer as well as the wider technical team, all lead by Drew. You can be based anywhere within the UK, but the closer you are to Newport on the Isle of Wight the better as there will be occasions for you to meet the team at our office there.
What you’ll bring
These are the skills and experience you’ll need to set yourself up for success in this role, however, we’d still love to talk to you even if you don’t tick all of them:
- You’ll have testing experience, including automation
- You’ll have a keenness to learn new skills and technology as well as be able to bring knowledge and experience with you
- You’ll be a team player, a collaborator and a great communicator
- You’ll be great at following processes and taking guidance
What we’ll give you
As well as a competitive salary, you’ll get a benefits package that includes things like a pension, life assurance, gym discounts and a cycle to work scheme!
We also take our corporate social responsibility pretty seriously and we believe in giving back to our community, so you’ll get the chance to be involved in lots of fundraising events throughout the year. Our latest one was a challenge to complete up to a 100km walk over 24hrs across the Peak District!
