About us

British Canoeing is the UK Governing Body for Paddlesports.  We have had many advances in our sport and canoeing now covers a wide range of interests and passions as a sport and a leisure activity for all.  We want to support and provide opportunities for everyone to enjoy and realise their potential within all aspects of canoeing regardless of their age, background or ability.

The role

British Canoeing is looking for someone to join our award-winning team who has the ability to embrace and create a healthy safety culture within paddlesport, by supporting departments and disciplines in risk management as well as ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation.

This exciting new role includes working with stakeholders, external partners and retailers to further our reach in raising awareness of paddlesport safety.

Salary: £32,000 – £35,000 dependent upon experience
Base: National Water Sports Centre, Nottingham
Working pattern: Full time 37 hours per week
Hybrid working: Current expectations are that there will be a mix of office and home-based
working
Closing Date: Wednesday 26th January 2022
Interview Date: Wednesday 2nd February 2022 (Interview will be conducted virtually)
