Your new team

You’ll be part of our Healthcare Gateway Development department, who’s a close-knit team of Developers passionate about innovation and what we do. You’ll have regular contact with the wider Healthcare Gateway team; including our sales, marketing, project management and product teams, so plenty of knowledge and expertise to help you to succeed in your role!

About the role

As Java Developer you’ll provide mid-level technical expertise to the wider Healthcare Gateway development team. You’ll use your development experience and knowledge to assist with team member’s decisions, working collaboratively with Senior Developers to inform internal departmental business processes, key performance indicators and ensuring the department is aligned with company strategy.

You’ll ideally have a minimum of three years’ development experience, an understanding of different software development life cycles, particularly agile methodologies and current working knowledge of standard brokering and database technologies, including Java, .Net or ASP, MVC/Web app, HTML, CSS and JavaScript.

Who you’ll be

These are the skills and experience you’ll need to set yourself up for success for this role, however, we’d still love to talk to you even if you don’t tick all of them;

  • A strong technical background in producing code, tests, and documentation
  • General software engineering experience in enterprise software development & software project delivery in a software company or system integrator
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including communication, problem-solving, decision making, and effective negotiation
