What we’re up to at Matchable

  • We’re a London-based Tech for Good startup disrupting the old-school way of employee volunteering. We’ve just raised our pre-seed round so you’ll be joining at a really exciting stage of our growth!
  • Our approach reimagines volunteering. We pair employees with unique volunteering opportunities at exciting non-profits and startups by helping them find their perfect cause and the best use of their skills – some might call it a perfect ‘match’!
  • We’ve experienced fantastic traction since launch in 2019 and are currently onboarding some of the UK’s biggest and most innovative companies, with the aim of delivering £2 billion of value via 6 million hours of volunteering to organisations changing the world over the next 3 years.
  • We launched the newest version of our platform in September 2021 and are excited to be taking Matchable to the next level by scaling our client base, becoming the go-to company for employee volunteering!

The job and your mission

  • You’ll be creating and implementing exciting marketing strategies which will build brand awareness and increase the number of inbound leads. You will be helping us to become recognised as a leader in the volunteering / B2B / Future of work market!

    We want to find someone who can both help us design our marketing growth strategy and get stuck in and help us execute it.

    Key responsibilities include:

    • Contributing to the overall marketing plan and participating in wider marketing initiatives. You will have a marketing budget to work with.

    • Building a strong marketing strategy based on a mix of inbound tactics, from organic to paid.

    • Developing and executing a social media strategy & social content schedule across Instagram and Linkedin.

    • Producing blog posts and other online content for our website and social media in order to improve our SEO

    • Getting involved in any other initiatives (eg. Webinars, thought pieces/research) that may help promote the Matchable brand and organic lead gen.

    • Working closely with the sales and customer success team to ensure marketing strategies are aligned with overall business goals and targets.

    • Ensuring our messaging is consistent across all platforms including our website, socials, and communications with clients.

    • Looking into how we can optimise our Google Ads campaign to generate high-quality inbound leads in line with sales team targets.


  • A marketing generalist with a minimum of 2-3 years in a marketing role.

    • Excellent knowledge and proven experience developing and executing successful marketing strategies and campaigns.

    • Strong copywriting and verbal communication skills.

    • Results-oriented with good digital and analytic skills.

    • A good eye for detail and experience using software such as canva and figma.

    • In-depth knowledge of various social media platforms, best practices, and website analytics.

    • Evidence of successful B2B lead generation campaigns and success in increasing brand awareness.

    • An ability to work with key stakeholders across the business and manage priorities.

Nice to have

  • Experience in a company selling SAAS or B2B products

  • Experience in a fast-growth startup

  • A willingness to learn about digital marketing

  • Creative – You’ll be the person coming up with catchy slogans, campaign ideas and ways to boost engagement so creativity is key!

  • Curious- You are constantly asking why- wondering how things work and how they could be improved. Excited to test and learn from others.

  • Master communicator – Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment and with a tight-knit team to build & grow a business.
