The theme of the show is Soapbox Science. Soapbox Science is a very special initiative that is very close to my heart as I have worked with its founders pretty much since Womanthology began. They give women in science a platform to share their professional passions with the public.
I have the great privilege of speaking with the co-founders of Soapbox Science, Dr Nathalie Pettorelli and Professor Seirian Sumner. They talk about taking science to the streets ten years ago, but then because of COVID Soapbox Science has moved online for the moment. We’ll be hearing about how the initiative has spread by word of mouth and taken the world by storm.
I will also be talking us through the written stories in the new issue.
