“Tired of gender stereotypes? So are we. Please help us by supporting our crowdfunding campaign to make this book a reality.”
I’m Kerrine Bryan and I’m the co-founder of Butterfly Books, an independent publishing house creating children’s picture books that address gender bias in various professions. After the success of our previous books, including My Mummy is an Engineer and My Daddy is a Nurse, we are currently crowdfunding for our 8th book – My Mummy is a Footballer. This is all about growing the women’s game from the grassroots.
We have just a few days left to reach our target of £14,000 which will enable us to publish the book and get free copies into 500 schools. We’ve had great support so far with clubs like Lewes FC and Charlton Athletic FC pledging, however, we need more supporters to help make this idea a reality. Pledges start at just £1, so do check our Crowdfunder page to find out more and support:

We have until 8th December 2020. We can do this with your help!
You can read more about our other titles in the last piece I did in Womanthology back in October.
