“…I am immensely proud of the work and the professionalism of our pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and support staff in community pharmacies, hospital and primary care practice settings across Scotland…”

Professor Rose Marie Parr on her appointment: A tremendous honour

It is a tremendous honour to have been appointed Scotland’s Chief Pharmaceutical Officer, and it is a very proud moment in my professional career.

This professional leadership role provides huge opportunities to drive forward further improvements in pharmaceutical care for patients, families and carers at the centre of the NHS in Scotland.

Immensely proud

I am immensely proud of the work and the professionalism of our pharmacists, pharmacy technicians and support staff in community pharmacies, hospital and primary care practice settings across Scotland. I look forward to working in a more collegiate manner with these professionals and our wider stakeholders to focus on the pharmaceutical care needs of people who rely on our NHS in Scotland.
